Orkun & Orkun was founded in 1989 by our founder Süleyman Orkun and, within a short time, became one of the largest local financial advisory firms in the Aegean Region by offering a broad portfolio of services to its clients.
Under the leadership of Burak Orkun, who joined the firm as a manager in 2005, and alongside the growth of foreign investment on the Bodrum peninsula, our firm carried out company formation, tax, audit and financial advisory services across various locations in Turkey for the client portfolio of leading real estate law firms in Great Britain.
Following this period of successful service, Barrister Başak (Yıldız) Orkun — who had held a salaried partnership at The International Law Partnership LLP in London — left her position to join our firm, bringing legal advisory services into our range of offerings. This merger strengthened Orkun & Orkun's international standing, giving international investors access to the quality of service and range of offerings they trust and are accustomed to.
Since 2010, under our renewed corporate identity, our firm has served clients locally and internationally in the fields of Law and Financial Advisory, working with approximately 20 staff members and solution partners located throughout Turkey, sharing practical advice, experience and solutions with our clients.
